Three decades of connecting Sunridge, AZ to destinations across the country.
Our story
Sunridge Regional Airport opened in 1994 with a single runway, two gates, and a vision to bring convenient air service to a fast-growing Arizona community. Over three decades, the airport has grown into a certificated public-use facility serving more than 320,000 passengers a year across commercial, charter, and general aviation operations.
Governed by the Sunridge Airport Authority and funded in partnership with the City of Sunridge, we operate with a public service mandate: keep air travel local, affordable, and accessible for every resident and business in our region.
What we stand for
Safety is our highest priority. Our FAA-certificated facility maintains round-the-clock air traffic control, emergency response, and airfield operations standards.
Sunridge Regional is a public airport owned and operated for the benefit of our region. We work closely with local government and business to expand air service options.
As a municipal airport authority, we operate openly. Our budget, master plan, and service agreements are available to the public through the City of Sunridge.
We invest in terminal comfort, accessibility, and staffing so every traveler -- from first-time fliers to seasoned business travelers -- feels welcome and informed.
