Our story
Desert Sky Credit Union was founded in 1991 by a group of Phoenix-area teachers and municipal workers who believed that a financial institution should serve its members -- not profit from them. That belief still guides every account we open, every loan we approve, and every rate we set.
Today we serve more than 28,000 members across Maricopa County from seven branch locations and a full-featured mobile app. We remain not-for-profit, member-governed, and entirely committed to this community.
