Twenty-two years delivering civil and structural engineering that keeps East Valley projects moving.
Our story
Ironwood Civil Engineering was established in 2004 by two licensed PEs who had spent the previous decade working for regional firms and wanted to build something leaner and more client-focused. We opened our first office in Gilbert, took on residential subdivision work for local builders, and grew entirely on word of mouth.
Today our team of PEs, a licensed PLS, and experienced support staff handles projects ranging from single-family structural additions to 100-plus-acre mixed-use developments. We still operate out of the Sunridge Valley, still answer our own phones, and still treat every project -- regardless of fee size -- as if our license depends on getting it right. Because it does.
What we stand for
Our PE and PLS seals carry our license numbers and our reputations. We do not stamp work we have not thoroughly reviewed and stand behind.
Accurate topographic data and a rigorous QC process mean fewer surprises during construction and a smoother path through plan review.
Every project is led by a registered PE or PLS -- not a project manager relaying instructions to someone overseas.
We have worked in every East Valley city and with every major municipality in Maricopa and Pinal counties. We know the reviewers, the standards, and the common pitfalls.
Service area
Our engineers are licensed statewide, but our primary focus is the rapidly growing communities of southeast Maricopa and western Pinal counties.
