A family-owned escape room venue built on obsessive attention to detail and a love of great storytelling.
Our story
Locked In Escape Rooms started in 2019 when siblings Ramona and Javier Ocon built their first puzzle room in their parents' garage as a quarantine project. Friends kept showing up wanting to play. Then friends of friends. Then strangers who had heard about it.
By 2021 they signed a lease in Sunridge, built three rooms, and opened to the public. Today Locked In operates six fully themed rooms and hosts everything from eight-year-old birthday parties to Fortune 500 team-building retreats. The garage is still there. The Crypt still has the original padlock from that first build.
What we stand for
Every room in our venue was designed, built, and dressed by our in-house team. No licensed kits, no prefab panels -- just original sets built to spark genuine wonder.
Whether you're a family with curious kids, a group of friends on a Friday night, or a company retreating for the day, we have a room and a format that fits.
We publish leaderboards for competitive crews but keep game masters warm and encouraging for first-timers. Winning is optional. Having a great time is not.
All rooms meet ADA accessibility guidelines. Emergency exits are clearly marked and always unlocked. Game masters monitor every session live on camera.
Service area
Groups drive in from across the Phoenix metro. If you can make the trip, we'll make it worth it.
