Built in the Sonoran foothills to give Arizona a boutique hotel worth returning to.
Our story
The Ironwood Inn opened in 2014 when Marcus and Elena Voss decided the east Valley deserved a boutique property that felt nothing like a chain. They converted a historic ranch property on Ironwood Ridge into 32 thoughtfully designed rooms, keeping the original ironwood trees that gave the land its character.
More than a decade later the inn has hosted honeymoons, business retreats, family reunions, and countless anniversary weekends. The Voss family still runs the front desk and personally reviews every guest stay. That has not changed -- and it will not.
What we stand for
The Ironwood Inn was built to celebrate the Sonoran landscape, not obscure it. Every design choice -- from the native plantings to the saltwater pool -- honors this remarkable place.
Thirty-two rooms is a deliberate choice. We stay small so every guest gets genuine attention, not a number at a front-desk queue. You will know our staff by name by day two.
We source our breakfast ingredients from Arizona farms, employ local artisans for room furnishings, and partner with Scottsdale-area guides for our excursion program.
No hidden resort fees. No mandatory valet. No checkout scramble. We keep things honest because repeat guests -- and we have many -- notice every detail.
Near all of it
Our guests use the Ironwood Inn as a base for exploring everything the greater Scottsdale area has to offer.
