More than 50 years of free knowledge, programs, and community connection in the heart of Arizona.
Our story
Sunridge Public Library opened its doors in 1971 with a modest collection and a simple belief: every resident deserves free access to information, literature, and opportunity. Over five decades later, our six-branch system serves tens of thousands of cardholders with over 120,000 items, digital resources, and 45 weekly programs.
We have grown with Sunridge -- adding branches as neighborhoods expanded, expanding digital access as technology evolved, and always finding new ways to serve the full range of residents who call this city home.
What we stand for
We believe access to knowledge is a right, not a privilege. Our collection, programs, and staff are here to support learning at every age and stage.
The library belongs to Sunridge residents. We listen, adapt, and grow alongside the community we serve -- your input shapes everything we do.
No membership fee. No late-fee barriers to access. Every branch is a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for everyone in our community.
From baby storytime to job-search workshops, our programs meet real needs -- helping residents connect, grow, and thrive throughout their lives.
Community reach
Our six locations are spread across Sunridge so no resident is far from their library. Each branch offers the full collection, programs, and public computers.
