Over a century of growth, service, and Arizona pride.
Our story
Sunridge was incorporated in 1912 by a small community of ranchers, miners, and merchants who saw the potential in this high-desert valley. A century later, we have grown into a city of 47,200 residents — but our founding belief has never changed: good government serves the people who live here, not the other way around.
From building out water infrastructure in the 1940s to opening our first community recreation center in 1978, and launching online city services in 2018, every decade has brought new investment in the quality of life our residents deserve.
What we stand for
Every budget, contract, and council vote is published online and open to public review.
We hold open meetings, welcome public comment, and make it easy for residents to participate.
Elected officials and department heads report publicly on goals, progress, and outcomes.
112 years of responsible growth, infrastructure investment, and community-driven planning.
City districts
From Old Town's historic adobe blocks to the newer development in Copper Hills, every district has a voice at City Hall.
