Seven decades of public education excellence in the heart of Sunridge, Arizona.
Our story
Sunridge Unified School District was established in 1954 to serve the growing families of a young Arizona community. What began with a single elementary school and 180 students has grown into a district of 21 campuses serving 14,200 students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Over seven decades, Sunridge USD has earned its reputation by putting students first, investing in excellent teachers, and maintaining the trust of the community through open governance and transparent reporting.
What we stand for
We hold every school accountable to rigorous academic standards while providing the supports every student needs to meet them.
We are a public institution rooted in Sunridge. Our board, staff, and families collaborate openly to shape the direction of the district.
Every decision we make starts with the question: what is best for students? Wellness, safety, and belonging are never afterthoughts.
We publish our academic data, budget, and board decisions publicly so every resident can see how we serve our community.
Neighborhoods we serve
Our schools are embedded in the neighborhoods they serve, ensuring every Sunridge family has a high-quality public school close to home.
