Our history
Sunridge Fire & Rescue was established in 1987 with a single station and a crew of fifteen dedicated firefighters. Over 37 years our district has grown, and so have we — six fully staffed stations, modern apparatus and a team of 87 firefighters and paramedics committed to the same founding mission: protect every life, every time.
We are an accredited department proud of our sub-five-minute response times, our community education programs and the trust Sunridge residents place in us every single day.
What we stand for

Our personnel train year-round in live fire, EMS, technical rescue and hazmat so readiness is never in question.
